• French Bachelor students must submit their application via Mon Master
• Students already enrolled in an undergraduate program taught in French must submit their application via e-candidat

Applications will be open from mid-January and mid-February 2025 More information will be communicated by January 2025

• European students* who are not currently living or studying in France must submit their application via the Mon Master.
• International students who are citizens** and are not currently living or studying in France must submit their application via the Etude en France.

Applications will be open from mid January  2025 until mid March, 2025 (11:59 pm CEST).

* “European” students are students with a nationality from:

– One of the 28 countries of the EU;
– A country included in the EEA (EU + Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein)
– Switzerland
– Monaco or Andorra

Resume or CV must be submitted in PDF format only. It is highly recommended that you include your specific research experiences. This is extremely important.

The recommended length for the Personal Statement is 500-1000 words.

The Frontiers in Chemistry Graduate Program is a community comprised of individuals from a diverse variety of backgrounds. We are interested in learning more about you as a person and how your background and experiences motivate you to make positive contributions to your community. There are no requirements for what to include; some possible prompts are listed here  below:

• Explain how your background has prepared you for this graduate program. Identify the research area(s) that most interest you, the scientific problems that motivate your pursuit of an advanced degree in chemistry, and how the resources and faculty of the Frontiers in Chemistry’s program promote these interests and motives.
• Describe your long-term scientific goals, and specify the unique aspects of the Université de Paris’ chemistry graduate program that will enable you to achieve these goals. If applicable, describe any specific academic or research challenges that you have encountered and how these were overcome.
• Describe your personal experience with resilience and/or perseverance. Give an example of a time in which you faced failure, a significant roadblock in making steady progress towards a goal, and then describe how you approached this situation. What did you learn from this experience? How has this experience shaped the way you approach challenges today?
• Describe a meaningful teaching or mentorship experience you have had and what you learned from that experience. What do you like most about teaching others?
• If there are any other factors concerning your prior academic, research, or work experience that you would like the Admissions Committee to be aware of, please describe them.

Your personal statement must be written in English only.

No certificate is required for native English speakers or students having completed their undergraduate studies in a program taught entirely in English.

In such case, replace the desired language certificate by a document (PDF file) explaining why you do not need to provide a certificate (e.g. ‘I was born and raised in Ireland, I studied in an American school for seven years, my IELTS is scheduled on May 15th, etc.).

Your level of English will be verified during the interview if your application is selected.

For applicants whose primary language is not English, a B2 level (minimum) is required. Therefore, providing a language certificate is mandatory.
